Dave and Heidi Lanford welcome you to The Iris Inn Bed & Breakfast. Nestled on 12 wooded acres, on the west side of the Blue Ridge Mountains and overlooking the Shenandoah Valley, this modern facility makes it ideal for a weekend romantic retreat. The inn also offers a refreshing change for the business traveler or a tranquil setting for the tourist to spend a few nights or a week.

The Inn was architecturally designed for comfort and for the mountain views and woodsy feel. All rooms have private access to outdoor decks with plenty of seating to enjoy the scenery, read a book or take a snooze. Its convenient location provides a home base for exploring many of the area attractions including the Shenandoah Valley, Blue Ridge Parkway, Skyline Drive, Charlottesville, The University of Virginia, Monticello and many fine local wineries.

The focal point of the Inn is the Great Room with it's 28 foot stone fireplace and a 48 square foot canvus depicting wildlife in the Blue Ridge Mountains. A full breakfast is served in the Great Room and features an entrée along with home baked breads, coffee, juice and fruit. A “bottomless” cookie jar is located on the sideboard and beverages are available at check in time.
